5th and 6th class had a visit from Kelley Keogh, STEM engagement officer with Westmeath County Council who led them in a workshop on VEX robotics. The children got to build their own basebot, then race and drive them.
It was a thoroughly engaging and productive workshop.
Some future engineers in the classroom no doubt!
