Our footballers took to the field in the 15th annual Iggy Fulham football tournament on Wednesday 4th June in Milltown GAA.
Up first we had a victory over Ballymore which set us up for a great days football.
We then played out a tense draw with Sonna with our boys and girls coming from behind and putting in a super second half performance to earn a share of the spoils.
We then suffered our first defeat of the day to Dalystown, again despite a strong second half showing.
In our final group game we played Castletown Geoghegan and another strong performance meant qualification for the final. We agin met a strong Dalystown side in the final and they emerged as deserved winners.
We didn’t go home empty handed however as Paddy was the winner of the “Ned Flynn Cic Fada”. 👏👏
