Our 5th and 6th class have been working on a Local History project with the Heritage Council over the past few months.
They took part in zoom calls with other schools with heritage experts, where they learned all about researching local heritage sites.
We then decided as a class to create a mural as a permanent display of our new learning.
We were very happy and lucky to have Grace Scally (a parent in school and talented artist) work with the children to brainstorm ideas and turn their vision into a reality.
The murals will be permanently displayed in school for years to come!
